Digital

Digital systems use discrete values (most commonly electrical voltages), primarily ones that are representable as binary digits, or objects such as icons or letters, for processing, storage, input,  display, or transmission instead of a continuum spectrum of values like an analog system would.

The use of the word "digital" versus "analog" can refer to the approach of data storage,  input and transfer methods, or the internal working of an electronic device.
